21 day old n00b here but it seems to me that updating the forum thread isn't very useful when it is every bit as unreachable as Tranquility.

Having a media person keeping twitter & facebook updated would have been much more useful I think.

Yes those CCP programmers supposedly worked yesterday too ( altough i have some doubts since they claim they took down their servers on purpose after discovering the DDoS, however there was no usual warning in game "put your pilot to safety etc" ), BUT THEY ARE PAID FOR THAT. Escapist Magazine is reachable and League of Legends logged in fine for me. That story doesn't seem like it's true.

Well it's been two days ......Why is the server down ? Man I had some major things going on when the Tranquility Server went down.
Hope CCP can get us up and running again.

Yes I understand it was not there problem, but they need to keep fourms on a whole different server. Not everyone is a dim witted Facebooker / tweeter leave that **** for brainless teenie boppers.

I'm not mad at CCP they got attacked. But they could at least give an ETA for today.

So now that I can bypass the Launcher log in and just open the client and log in I am happy. But the problems did start after they changed how we log into the game.

Again when it's not broke, do not try and fix it, as you can see, you opened up a can of worms for yourself. This all could have been avoided is my point.

The hackers found a weakness and exploited it. Not CCP's fault for the hackers choice to attack, but is CCP's fault for giving them an exploit to exploit.
